Thank you Mark. We all have those childhood memories that flood over us, and at a distance it is more the feelings we remember, so it wouldn't have been possible to fill it with a lot of unnecessary words, like memories, it is snippets of color, sounds, feelings. I am glad you appreciated it. I don't normally do poems of this length either, I think I am usually too lazy.
