WOW! I need to take some time to absorb this one. You transported me. This is too much. Memories of my own childhood come flooding. You've inspired me once again Ned, and managed to shift my writing focus from trees to childhood.
I would love to maintain a poem of this length. It's not easy to flesh out a poem without bloating it with excess, unneccesary verbage, at least for me that's the case. There was none of that here Ned. No wast, no filler. Well written.
